How to use

• Wash the car.
• Work on 1 panel at a time. Mould the clay into a usable shape, spray ClayLube on a panel & rub the clay gently over the surface using overlapping strokes. Work untill the clay runs smooth across the surface.
• Continue to check the clay & fold as necessary to expose a clean surface. Always keep the surface well lubricated.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• After use, wrap the clay in its original plastic film. This prevents sticking and extends they clay’s life.
• Note: If dropped, detailing clay should be discarded as contaminants will stick to clay and introduce scratches to painted surfaces.

Decontamination of the paint surface is critical to proper auto care for a multitude of reasons. Directions:

• Wash vehicle
• For first use break in the PolyShave block by using it on windshield or glass before paint.

• Do not use pressure, simply glide across the surface repeatedly

Notes:

• As with any mechanical decontamination products, polishing afterwards may be needed to remove any micromarring
• For a perfect finish use a finishing polish after the use

Iron X by CarPro is an acid-free, pH-balanced iron remover that decontaminates auto paint and wheels. Iron X prevents the spread of iron-related damage to protect your vehicle from paint system failure. Your vehicle constantly faces unseen threats. Remove them with Iron X!

Airborne chemical compounds and ferrous (iron-containing) particles penetrate auto paint and create corrosive compounds that eat into the paint’s sublayers. Detailing clay removes the particles but it doesn’t remove their effects ‘ corrosion may already be creeping under the paint’s surface.

The only way to truly remove ferrous particles is with a dedicated iron remover like Iron X. Iron X opens up the paint’s pores to release iron particles and to neutralize the caustic compounds that have developed as a result of the particle. In one step, you can eliminate the cause and its effects. Put an immediate stop to paint damage before it’s too late.

Iron X is excellent on automotive paint and safely cleans clear coats. Iron X is highly recommended for all clear coated alloy wheels. Brake dust and road grime become baked onto wheels. Brake dust contains high levels of iron and can quickly pit clear-coated wheels. Iron X easily removes ferrous brake dust to protect your wheels from further damage. Iron X can save you the cost of replacing your factory wheels!

Note: Iron X should not be used on bare metal parts, brake callipers, wheel balancing weights, or SMART paint repairs. Mask off these areas. Avoid letting Iron X dry on any surface.

Iron X is easy to use and you can see it working! Iron X is a clear solution in the bottle but it turns purple when it comes into contact with sintered iron particles. Iron X turns the iron into a water-soluble complex for easy removal. After five minutes of dwell time, wipe down the surface and rinse thoroughly. After using Iron X, you can polish and clay your vehicle as you normally would. Always apply a coat of wax or paint sealant after using Iron X.

Proper vehicle care means cleaning above and below the paint’s surface. Iron X Iron Remover removes iron particles and their effects to keep the paint clean and healthy.

Directions:

1. Wash the car or wheels surfaces, and make sure the surface is in cool temp.
2. Shake well, and spray on the surface. Rub it in with a damp sponge thoroughly.
3. Wait 5 min. while contaminants change their colour to purple/red. Wipe off with a damp soft sponge. Don’t let the IronX dry completely on the surface!
4. Rinse well or power wash the whole surface. The vehicle is ready to clay now.

An IPA, or isopropyl alcohol and water mixture, is used to remove polish residue and fillers from auto paint before a wax or paint sealant is applied. This step allows you to check your work following compounding and it is supposed to ensure a totally clean paint surface on which the LSP (last step product) can bond. However, IPAs lift oil and dust, but they can be redeposited as you wipe the paint.

Eraser goes a step farther with an intense cleaner that dissolves oil. It also attracts the dust left by compounding. When you wipe down your vehicle with Eraser Intense Oil & Polish Cleanser, you’re removing oils, fillers, and dust completely. Once you apply CQuartz, it will bond better and create an even, long-lasting shine with great protection.

Eraser also has anti-static components to resist dusting after wiping. The paint will stay dust-free while you’re in the process of applying Cquartz so you don’t have to keep re-cleaning. The eraser contains no silicone and is completely safe for use in paint shops and body shops.
