Directions:

* If you have never applied a ceramic coating, then do a single test section and check properly in high ambient light before moving on to the rest of the vehicle.

  1. Wrap a 4″ Microfiber Suede around the black side of the applicator block or use the Microfiber Applicator.
  2. Shake CQUARTZ Lite 2.0 and carefully open the lid, always pointing AWAY from your face.
  3. Drag or drip one or two lines of product across the applicator.
  4. Spread across paint in an overlapping circular pattern approximately 2 sq ft at a time.
  5. Move to the next section and repeat.
  6. Make note of how long it has been since you began applying, and make sure to wipe off all residue within 5 ~ 30 minutes.  (If using in the sun or high heat, then keep it to 5 minutes.)
  7. An additional coat may be applied if you wish within 45-60 minutes of the start of the first.

Precautions:

  • Do not reuse microfiber applicators after use.
  • Do not reuse the wipe-off towels on paint after initial use.
  • Wear hand protection.
  • Wear respiratory protection such as a painter’s mask.

After Application Tips:

  • Keep the surface dry for at least one hour after application.
  • Gently wipe any water off the surface during the first 24 hours after application.
  • Avoid detergents and chemicals for 5 days after application if possible.
  • If it is dry and the air is clean outside, then you may park the vehicle in direct sun after application to speed the curing

  2. Wrap 4″ Suede Applicator  around the grey side of applicator block or use a good MF applicator.
  3. Gently shake bottle, point away from your face and slowly open.
  4. Place applicator against the top of bottle, tip, and immediately drag one or two lines of product along length of applicator. 
  5. Wipe evenly across 2 Sq Ft +/- section in criss cross or overlapping motion without pressure.
  6. Wait 2 ~ 15 minutes (depending on temperatures, type of PPF, and flash time) before wiping.
  7. Once it rainbows and you can feel a slight resistance, wipe off with a CARPRO 2Face Microfiber Towel. 
  8. Be sure to remove all excess residue and only then move on with wiping off next section. 
  9. NOTE: Always test ONE section first and make sure you understand application and flash times before proceeding.
  10. Flip or switch out to new 4″ suede every 1 ~ 2 panels or if residue becomes visible.
  11. Keep out of the elements for 12~36 hours for best performance and durability.
  12. If you wish to apply an extra layer, you may do so after 1 hour from the time you began the first layer.
  13. Repeat application process starting in the same panel and moving the same direction around the vehicle.

Preparation of plastic surfaces:

  1. Make sure the surface is cool and dry. (Do not apply to hot surfaces or in direct sun.)
  2. Scrub surface with an APC( all purpose cleaner) and microfiber towel.
  3. Rinse while agitating with microfiber towel to remove all residue from APC.
  4. Dry surface.
  5. Wipe surface with CARPRO Eraser, wipe dry, and then allow plastic to evaporate 20 minutes before applying.

Application directions for textured plastic:

  1. Wet the applicator with a strip of DLight and spread evenly across a SMALL area at a time.
  2. When applying it is VERY important to work one area in even as you go.  Do not move on until it is even.
  3. Start in one corner and work out! Do not take on a huge area at once.
  4. Apply nice and even as you go. Do not try to spread too thin, but be sure to work it to an even coat in the first minute before moving to the next overlapping area. After a minute you should not be going back over that area.
  5. On textured trim do not wipe it off, just be sure you apply EVENLY and fully into the texture.
  6. On brand new textured plastic, use ceramic coatings at your own risk – See explanation at bottom.
  7. On smooth plastic you should wipe it off before it becomes too sticky.  This results in a thinner coat that doesn’t last as long but on some smooth plastics there is not an easy way to apply it evenly.

Directions for Paint: 

  1. Wash, decontaminate, mechanically polish and panel wipe the paint. (*Do not use any polishes with primers or fillers in them.)
  2. Wrap 4″ suede cloth around the grey side of applicator block or simply use a good MF applicator
  3. Gently shake bottle, point away from your face and slowly open.
  4. Place applicator against the top of bottle, tip, and immediately drag one or two lines of product along length of applicator.

Additional Tips:

  • Finding the right time to “level” (wipe off) excess coating after it flashes:
    • Start with a single 2ft x 2ft test section to determine flash time before applying coating to entire vehicle. Flash time will vary depending on temperature, humidity, air movement, paint type, how thick it is applied, and more.
    • If coating is applied thick then the coating will take longer to flash. If applied thin it will flash faster. Hot temps will cause it to flash faster, cold temps will cause it to flash slower. Air movement will cause it to flash faster.
    • When it flashes you will see it begin to change in wetness, appearance, or else bead up.
    • All streaks should wipe off and the paint should be nice and clear.
    • Wait between 2 ~ 15 minutes depending on temperature, humidity, and air movement, and find the right window to wipe when you’re doing your test panel. Generally in medium temperatures 4 ~ 10 minutes is the right window.
  • Lighting:
    • Lighting is key to make sure you wipe off completely without leaving high spots.
    • You don’t want “direct light” like you would use on paint correction, but rather ambient light.
    • Look at the paint from different angles to make sure none of the coating is missed.
    • Spot light will “wash out” the high spots visually. Think of it like this: when you wipe off a sealant you have hours to go and check it again outside or in other lighting.  In this case you need to pay attention as you go rather than wait an hour. Thorough removal of residue and streaks is necessary to avoid the need to polish off high spots later.
  • High spots:
    • A high spot is excess coating that was not leveled (wiped off). Most of the time it will look like a darker or rainbow colored mark.
    • If you discover them within minutes then a bit more product will easily lift them.
    • If found days later then you would use a dot of finishing polish such as CARPRO Reflect and rub the high spot off, wipe it down with CARPRO Eraser or your IPA of choice, and then re-coat that area and onto the area around it by about 6″.
    • Then start wiping off the perimeter immediately and slowly work inwards to feather it until you reach the area you are trying to re-coat at the appropriate time. This is the method used to avoid polishing the entire panel and re-coating.

Coating Maintenance:

  1. Most importantly, use CARPRO Reset to wash regularly. Other soaps can leave residue that temporarily messes up the beading and allows dust and dirt to stick more readily.
  2. Wash Mitt:
    • CarPro Hand Wash Mitt (Recommended for daily drivers and most cars – This mitt is easiest to maintain and is extremely durable as well as washing out most easily)
  3. Drying Towel: Use a high quality drying MF like CarPro DhyDrate MF
  4. Occasionally (every 3 to 12 months depending on miles) decontaminate surface with CARPRO Iron X.  Use during wash cycle (after Reset) and as directed.
  5. Use CARPRO Reload every 3-12 months or as you prefer.

Questions & Answers 

  • Q: How is this different than CQUARTZ Skin for use on PPF?  Do I need both?
  • A: DLight has far more UV protection than any coating including Skin.  It is also more durable and superior in every way except it is more difficult to remove than CQUARTZ Skin.  No, you do not need both of them.  If you want to save money then CQUARTZ Skin is the best option. If you want the best UV protection that money can buy than get the DLight. If you want something you may be able to remove without mechanical polishing then buy Skin.
  • Q: Can CQUARTZ DLight be used on vinyl?
  • A: Yes, it is highly recommended for vinyl material as vinyl is very susceptible to UV damage. We do recommend that you test on an inconspicuous area first because the quality of vinyl varies so greatly between brands.
  • Q: Can CQUARTZ DLight be used on satin or matte surfaces?
  • A: we believe that you should not apply a coating to a surface that cannot be polished. Satin and Matte surfaces cannot be polished without damaging their finish so we do not suggest coating them. Many others in the industry do coat matte and satin surfaces and do so at their own risk.
  • Q: How this is different then CQUARTZ Dlux on plastics?
  • A: This provides far more UV protection than Dlux on any surface it is applied to. CQUARTZ Dlux is the go to for extreme heat like brake and wheel components but CQUARTZ DLight is far superior for protection of plastics and PPF where the sun’s UV rays are the enemy.
  • Q: Can be used on textured plastic trim? Did you test it on plastic?
  • A: Yes, it can be applied to textured plastic trim just like CQUARTZ Dlux however we would caution with the exact same warning you find on our CQUARTZ Dlux page.
  • Q: Does CQUARTZ DLight add hydrophobics and have other features or only UV protection?
  • A: CQUARTZ DLight is actually on par with the critically acclaimed DQUARTZ GO with regards to its hydrophobics, beading, and slickness.
  • Q: Can CQUARTZ DLight be used as standalone on paint or only as a top coat?
  • A: We have been testing it as a standalone  on paint and it has performed flawlessly.

Brand New Vehicles (Textured Plastic):

The reason we have a warning is because of possible complications that can arise years into the future due to variables out of our control. A car dealer may use a very high silicone content dressing on the trim before selling it to the new owner and some of this may not be able to be removed before application of a ceramic coating. That can cause it not to bond and create an unsightly appearance if not entirely bonded. We believe it is also possible that the plastic may “gas out” for a year or so after being created and potentially that gas could get caught between ceramic and plastic and create tiny microscopic bubbles that start to make an unsightly dulling appearance. In the rare instances that it happens, there is no surefire solution to removing the discoloration or white dots due to the fact it is nearly impossible to effectively polish a ceramic coating off textured plastic without changing its appearance.

Matte Finish Surfaces: 

With regards to coating a matte or satin finish surface – we personally advise against using any semi-permanent coating on a matte finish or any finish that you are not able to polish.

The reasoning is two fold.

1. Applying a product that you can’t remove without polishing TO a surface that you can NOT polish is not logical to us. The liability involved in such a thing just doesn’t make sense to us

2. You can not polish the surface to prep it in the first place so a proper bond isn’t guaranteed.

  7. On smooth plastic you should wipe it off before it becomes too sticky.  This results in a thinner coat that doesn’t last as long but on some smooth plastics there is not an easy way to apply it evenly.

Directions for Paint: 

  1. Wash, decontaminate, mechanically polish and panel wipe the paint. (*Do not use any polishes with primers or fillers in them.)
  2. Wrap 4″ suede cloth around the grey side of applicator block or simply use a good MF applicator
  3. Gently shake bottle, point away from your face and slowly open.
  4. Place applicator against the top of bottle, tip, and immediately drag one or two lines of product along length of applicator. 
  5. Wipe evenly across 2 Sq Ft +/- section in criss cross or overlapping motion without pressure.
  6. Wait 5 ~ 15 minutes (depending on temperatures and flash time) before wiping.
  7. Once it rainbows and you can feel a slight resistance, wipe off with a CARPRO 2Face Microfiber Towel. 
  8. Be sure to remove all excess residue and only then move to the next section. 
  9. NOTE: Always test ONE section first and make sure you understand application and flash times before proceeding.
  10. Flip or switch out to new 4″ suede every 1 ~ 2 panels or if residue becomes visible.
  11. Keep out of the elements for 12~36 hours for best performance and durability.
  12. If you wish to apply an extra layer, you may do so after 1 hour from the time you began the first layer.
  13. Repeat application process starting in the same panel and moving the same direction around the vehicle.

Additional Tips:

  • Finding the right time to “level” (wipe off) excess coating after it flashes:
    • Start with a single 2ft x 2ft test section to determine flash time before applying coating to entire vehicle. Flash time will vary depending on temperature, humidity, air movement, paint type, how thick it is applied, and more.
    • If coating is applied thick then the coating will take longer to flash. If applied thin it will flash faster. Hot temps will cause it to flash faster, cold temps will cause it to flash slower. Air movement will cause it to flash faster.
    • When it flashes you will see it begin to change in wetness, appearance, or else bead up.
    • All streaks should wipe off and the paint should be nice and clear.
    • Wait between 2 ~ 15 minutes depending on temperature, humidity, and air movement, and find the right window to wipe when you’re doing your test panel. Generally in medium temperatures 4 ~ 10 minutes is the right window.
  • Lighting:
    • Lighting is key to make sure you wipe off completely without leaving high spots.
    • You don’t want “direct light” like you would use on paint correction, but rather ambient light.
    • Look at the paint from different angles to make sure none of the coating is missed.
    • Spot light will “wash out” the high spots visually. Think of it like this: when you wipe off a sealant you have hours to go and check it again outside or in other lighting.  In this case you need to pay attention as you go rather than wait an hour. Thorough removal of residue and streaks is necessary to avoid the need to polish off high spots later.
  • High spots:
    • A high spot is excess coating that was not leveled (wiped off). Most of the time it will look like a darker or rainbow colored mark.
    • If you discover them within minutes then a bit more product will easily lift them.
    • If found days later then you would use a dot of finishing polish such as CARPRO Reflect and rub the high spot off, wipe it down with CARPRO Eraser or your IPA of choice, and then re-coat that area and onto the area around it by about 6″.
    • Then start wiping off the perimeter immediately and slowly work inwards to feather it until you reach the area you are trying to re-coat at the appropriate time. This is the method used to avoid polishing the entire panel and re-coating.

Coating Maintenance:

  1. Most importantly, use CARPRO Reset to wash regularly. Other soaps can leave residue that temporarily messes up the beading and allows dust and dirt to stick more readily.
  2. Wash Mitt:
    • CarPro Hand Wash Mitt (Recommended for daily drivers and most cars – This mitt is easiest to maintain and is extremely durable as well as washing out most easily)
  3. Drying Towel: Use a high quality drying MF like CarPro DhyDrate MF
  4. Occasionally (every 3 to 12 months depending on miles) decontaminate surface with CARPRO Iron X.  Use during wash cycle (after Reset) and as directed.
  5. Use CARPRO Reload every 3-12 months or as you prefer.

Questions & Answers 

  • Q: How is this different than CQUARTZ Skin for use on PPF?  Do I need both?
  • A: DLight has far more UV protection than any coating including Skin.  It is also more durable and superior in every way except it is more difficult to remove than CQUARTZ Skin.  No, you do not need both of them.  If you want to save money then CQUARTZ Skin is the best option. If you want the best UV protection that money can buy than get the DLight. If you want something you may be able to remove without mechanical polishing then buy Skin.
  • Q: Can CQUARTZ DLight be used on vinyl?
  • A: Yes, it is highly recommended for vinyl material as vinyl is very susceptible to UV damage. We do recommend that you test on an inconspicuous area first because the quality of vinyl varies so greatly between brands.
  • Q: Can CQUARTZ DLight be used on satin or matte surfaces?
  • A: we believe that you should not apply a coating to a surface that cannot be polished. Satin and Matte surfaces cannot be polished without damaging their finish so we do not suggest coating them. Many others in the industry do coat matte and satin surfaces and do so at their own risk.
  • Q: How this is different then CQUARTZ Dlux on plastics?
  • A: This provides far more UV protection than Dlux on any surface it is applied to. CQUARTZ Dlux is the go to for extreme heat like brake and wheel components but CQUARTZ DLight is far superior for protection of plastics and PPF where the sun’s UV rays are the enemy.
  • Q: Can be used on textured plastic trim? Did you test it on plastic?
  • A: Yes, it can be applied to textured plastic trim just like CQUARTZ Dlux however we would caution with the exact same warning you find on our CQUARTZ Dlux page.
  • Q: Does CQUARTZ DLight add hydrophobics and have other features or only UV protection?
  • A: CQUARTZ DLight is actually on par with the critically acclaimed DQUARTZ GO with regards to its hydrophobics, beading, and slickness.
  • Q: Can CQUARTZ DLight be used as standalone on paint or only as a top coat?
  • A: We have been testing it as a standalone  on paint and it has performed flawlessly.

Brand New Vehicles (Textured Plastic):

The reason we have a warning is because of possible complications that can arise years into the future due to variables out of our control. A car dealer may use a very high silicone content dressing on the trim before selling it to the new owner and some of this may not be able to be removed before application of a ceramic coating. That can cause it not to bond and create an unsightly appearance if not entirely bonded. We believe it is also possible that the plastic may “gas out” for a year or so after being created and potentially that gas could get caught between ceramic and plastic and create tiny microscopic bubbles that start to make an unsightly dulling appearance. In the rare instances that it happens, there is no surefire solution to removing the discoloration or white dots due to the fact it is nearly impossible to effectively polish a ceramic coating off textured plastic without changing its appearance.

Matte Finish Surfaces: 

With regards to coating a matte or satin finish surface – we personally advise against using any semi-permanent coating on a matte finish or any finish that you are not able to polish.

The reasoning is two fold.

1. Applying a product that you can’t remove without polishing TO a surface that you can NOT polish is not logical to us. The liability involved in such a thing just doesn’t make sense to us

2. You can not polish the surface to prep it in the first place so a proper bond isn’t guaranteed.

  1. Wash with CARPRO Reset, decontaminate, and polish with CARPRO Reflect. If a heavier cut is needed, may start with CARPRO ClearCut.
  2. Wipe down with CARPRO Eraser (vehicle must be 100% dry and free of moisture or dew).
  3. Drag two lines of product across the length of suede wrapped applicator.
  4. Apply evenly across the surface, approximately 2 ft x 2 ft section at a time. Any overlap from one section to the next must be within a couple of minutes for even application.
  5. Add more product to the applicator as needed to keep a wet, even application.
  6. Gliss will flash fast and when a white haze forms, immediately wipe off all residues using a microfiber towel. If haze is left on too long then reapply and immediately wipe off.
  7. If layering on top of itself, wait 1 hour between coats. If IR is cured, you may repeat it immediately. Total cure time: 6 hours.

Directions: (For use as top coat).

  1. May be applied 4 hours or longer after CQUARTZ.
  2. If IR is cured may be applied after 45 minutes from CQUARTZ application

After Tips:

  • Keep the surface dry for at least one hour after application.

CARPRO Gliss Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. What does Gliss mean? 

A. Gliss in French means very slick surface.

Q. Does Gliss perform as a sealant or a coating?

A. It is a lighter version of the CQUARTZ coatings.

Q. Can it be used on top of Reload, Essence Extreme, or Essence Plus? 

A. No since they will not allow the coating to bond to the surface.

Q. Can you use it as a stand-alone coat?

A. Yes it’s very easy to use and will bond well on bare paint.

Q. Do you need to use Eraser pre-coat? 

A. Yes to ensure the surface is free of any oils that will prevent the coating from bonding. If a wax or sealant has been previously applied to the surface they will need to be stripped as Eraser will not remove them.

Q. Can we use CQUARTZ on top of Gliss? 

A. No.

Q. Can Gliss be applied over a previously coated car which was done a few months ago?

A. Yes.

Q. Is there a time that you should not apply Gliss on top of a CQUARTZ coating? 

A. There is a time at which Gliss is not going to bond as well to a weathered coating. The exact point at which that happens is impossible to say due to all the variables involved and the impossibility of testing each one. What I CAN say is that we tested it on top of a 2-month-old coating with good results and it seems to have bonded well. The prep we would recommend for an aged coating if you are not polishing is as follows:

1.     Wash with CARPRO Reset.
2.     Rinse.
3.     Decontaminate with CARPRO Iron X.
4.     Rinse.
5.     Use CARPRO Spotless (if needed).
6.     Give one final wash again with CARPRO Reset.
7.     Rinse and dry.
8.     Wipe down with CARPRO Eraser.
9.     Coat.

Q. Does it crystallize like the CQUARTZ coatings? 

A. No, it is not meant to add hardness. The main purpose was to add protection from water spots as high content Sio2 based coatings’ weak point is water spots.

Q. Can we top the Gliss with Reload?

A.  Yes but it is not necessary. However, if you choose to do so Reload can be applied after 12 hrs.

Q. Does Gliss attract dust over the surface? 

A. Gliss uses inorganic oils to produce slickness, together with its anti-static properties it will attract much less dust than most ceramic coatings or top coats.

Q. How many cars we can coat with a 30ml bottle? 

A. About 20ml will go in mid-size SUV( Creta size) and large SUVs will consume 30ml Approx( Innova Size)

Q. Can I use TarX on the Gliss? 

A. No, only for a small quick spot treatment.

Q. How long will the durability last? 

A. We believe up to 12 months, if well maintained with CARPRO Reset.

Q. Can I use Gliss on top of protection film (PPF)? 

A. Yes, it will bond well and become hydrophobic. We recommend testing in an inconspicuous area first since there are many different types of PPF.

Q. My coating is a few months old and I want to apply Gliss but Reload has already been applied over the coating, can I still use Gliss?

A. No, as Reload will not allow the coating to bond to the paint, but if you still want to apply Gliss then the process would be as follows:

  1. Wash with CARPRO Reset.
  2. Decontaminate with Iron X if necessary.
  3. Use CARPRO Tar X (this will pull the oils out of Reload that will prevent Gliss from bonding. Use in the shade, do not allow to dwell, and be careful around sensitive plastics)
  4. a. Spray and wipe in Tar X into the panel with microfiber and immediately neutralize the Tar X by either rewashing the panel or using a waterless wash such as CARPRO Ech2o (make sure to neutralize Tar X before moving on to the next panel).
  5. Give it one more good wash with CARPRO Reset.
  6. Wipe down with CARPRO Eraser.
  7. Gliss application *If applying over an old coating there is a possibility Gliss may haze up the next day and you can see the application marks. If this happens wiping down the vehicle with CARPRO Ech2o or a damp microfiber will remove it.*
  8. If you choose to apply Reload over Gliss then you must wait a minimum of 12 hrs to allow Gliss to cure.
Q. Will this work over other coatings or CQUARTZ coatings only?

A. We haven’t tested it on other coatings but it will work on some of them or in replacement of some of them.

Q. How glossy and slick is it compared to CQUARTZ coatings?

A.  Much more slick than CQUARTZ. Gloss will come mostly from polishing but it is slightly glossier than CQ by itself.

Q. So… if I understand correctly, THIS is a coating for coatings.  If my car were coated in CQUK or regular CQUARTZ, I would apply Gliss over the CQUARTZ UK to increase the slickness feel.  I was under the understanding that the point of coatings was we didn’t have to put anything on top of it. Please advise, I’m confused.

A1. That’s correct, you do NOT need to apply this on top of your CQUARTZ. You could continue on with Reset washes regularly, and occasionally decontaminating with Iron X and if you like Reload or Hydrofoam too (IF you want).

A2. Gliss can be applied a few hours after coating to provide a slicker surface which coatings lack and to assist in water spot resistance but again these are choices- not necessities.

A3. You could ALSO use Gliss by itself instead of a coating for someone afraid of using a heavy-duty coating like the UK, they could use GLISS as it is VERY visible when it’s ready to wipe off etc.

Directions:

  • Do not apply to a wet windshield or it may cause damage to the surface.
  • Polish your glass using Ceriglass or paint compound by hand or machine. If scratches are present use the machine.
  • Wipe off residue.
  • Clean the surface well with Eraser.
  • Shake Flyby30, then wet the supplied applicator just enough so that it does not feel grabby during application.
  • Apply in a criss-cross pattern to one side of the windshield or one window. Apply more product to the applicator as needed to avoid dragging or grabbiness of the applicator.
  • Allow to flash and haze for approximately 1-3 minutes (depending on temps and humidity) and wipe off with a CarPro 2Face Towel or quality microfiber towel.
  • Thoroughly clean the wiper blades and apply Reload to prevent the blades from chattering.

Tips:

  • We recommend: 2-3 coats applied to the windshield and 1 coat to all other windows
    Consecutive coats can be applied immediately.

Tips:

  • If contamination exists it is recommended that you Iron X and clay your vehicle before polishing.
  • To gain the most from Cquartz it is recommended that your vehicle have all surfaces 100% clean and paint polished to a high level
  • Use CarPro Reflect to achieve an incredibly high gloss finish in less time with no fillers if there are mild swirls, if there is heavy use CarPro Clearcut before this step.
  • Use CarPro Eraser to remove all oils left from Reflect – This is critical to ensure the durability of CQuartz
  • Directions: (Use only in good ambient lighting)
  • Wrap a 4″ mf Suede around the grey side of the applicator block
  • Shake CQuartz UK
  • Slowly open the bottle and drag one line of product across the applicator
  • Spread across paint in a criss-cross pattern approximately 2 sq ft at a time depending on conditions
  • Buff off as soon as it flashes (within 1-5 minutes depending) using a CarPro Two Face MF Towel OR BOA Towel
  • Be sure to remove all excess residue and only then do you move to the next section
  • Switch out applicators regularly
  • Apply CarPro Reload before 1 hour. Wait until the next day for Reload if you miss the 30-60-minute window

After Tips:

  • Keep surface dry for at least one hour after application (For best results keep dry 24 hours)
  • Gently wipe any water off the surface during the first 24 hours after application
  • Avoid detergents and chemicals for 5 days after application
  • If it is dry and the air is clean outside then you may park the vehicle in direct sun after application to speed up the curing

Precautions:

  • Do not apply in direct sun or on a hot surface
  • Do not re-use 4″ Suede applicators

How to use:
  • Make sure the surface is clean and full decontaminated. Use CarPro Iron X, Tar X, and clay on the surface to ensure all contamination is removed.
    Use Carpro Eraser (or similar) to remove oils before application. Make sure the surface is cool and dry. You may wish to polish the surface with
  • CarPro Essence or Reflect to create higher gloss before using Eraser or to ensure maximum durability.
  • Apply 10-12 drops on a microfiber applicator; apply the product evenly to one small area of roughly 24×24” / 60cm x 60cm with complete coverage and an even layer.
  • Use a CarPro 2Face Towel to remove any excess. CQuartz Lite does not need to be left to cure on the surface so it should be removed immediately. Check well with an appropriate light source to ensure you remove any high spots (the excess product that was not levelled) or residue. Note: For a short period of time after application, high spots that were not removed immediately can be corrected by applying more CQuartz
  • Lite on that area and wipe off immediately.
  • After the paint is free of residue, leave to dry for 4 hours prior to getting wet. Any water drops during the first 48h should be removed before drying to prevent water spots. We also recommend the use of CarPro Reload 1 hour after application to protect from water spots during the first 48h.

    On thick plush, fibres work into the surface with a gloved hand and apply another very light coat on the surface.

Alcantara Tips:

  • CQuartz Fabric should be used sparingly and applied evenly via a foam applicator.
  • The surface must be 100% clean and dry of all dirt, oils, and sealants.
  • Leave windows down during, and for a few hours after use.
  • Shake product.
  • Spray CQuartz Fabric onto the foam applicator lightly.
  • Work product into the material in overlapping circular even motions in both directions, a small area at a time and evenly before moving on. Do not overwork.
  • Allow to air dry.
  • Precaution: Once cured, CQuartz Fabric can not be removed so it is critical that you should not use it unless you have experience with the product.

AfterCare:

  • Must be fully dry before subjecting to traffic or abrasion.
  • When soiled, simply wipe with clean damp microfiber or use an interior cleaner if you prefer.
  • Avoid using shampoos containing wax or silicones or they will temporarily affect the super hydrophobic effect.

Precautions:

  • Apply sparingly.
  • Test in an inconspicuous area before use.
  • Do not dilute.
  • Use in a ventilated area.
  • Wear suitable breathing protection.
